Look, it's a client character. She plays Pathfinder in an Asian setting. He's a kobold seer. He has a very interesting backstory and personality, which I tried to represent in the final illustration. My main goal was to better reflect his personality in the key art, delve deeper into his history and context, and apply brush techniques to better represent textures and materials.
